31 weeks :)

Still holding on strong to these two angels. :) I'm so glad and blessed that we've made it this far, and even continuing to work full-time. I'm partially crazy, I know. Most women would've kicked the job already, but I truly love what I do and get a lot of joy out of caring for people. My patients always laugh when they ask if I'm having a boy or girl and I tell them 2 girls. LOL! They are always shocked. My co-workers have been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I really couldn't work with better folks. They've been so supportive through my pregnancy. They definitely make it easier for me to continue to work full-time.

As for Drew, my husband, my best friend, truly my better half, I couldn't have made it this far with the girls without him. He's such an incredible person. I get teary eyed thinking about him and how wonderful he's been to me and his girls. He adores my belly, it's really sweet. He talks to the girls, and loves on them constantly. I know they already know who he is, because when they hear his voice, they go wild! You all know I'm an avid Army Wives fan. The episode last night was too surreal. Deployment always lingers in the back of my mind. It was tough to watch and brought out a lot of emotions I haven't felt in a long time. Although Drew hasn't been home quite a year, deployments are something you learn to "sweep under the rug" once they've passed. It's not discussed much, you just pick up where you left off and forget the past 11.5 months. It was the hardest yet most forgettable year of my life. I will always treasure his service to our country as well as the others, but it's a tough pill to swallow sometimes. Although it was hard, I'm so thankful for him and his journey to and from Iraq. I remind myself that if we can make it through that, we can do anything. :)

So...31 weeks today, and I'm back to the Doc tomorrow. I'm excited to see my girls again. They will do a growth ultrasound to see how much they weigh! I'm guessing....3lbs 8 oz. We'll see! I will update once I get home. We're getting so close, and I am TIRED! Keep praying for us! We love each and everyone of you.

This summer, we have taken 2 family trips to Panama City Beach, Fl. The weather was good, and the water was beautiful, no OIL! Makes me wonder when going back next summer, how will the beaches look? It saddens me to see pictures of our beautiful gulf destroyed. I've spent many summer days enjoying God's beautiful creation. I wed the love of my life on the white, sandy beach of Florida...memories I will treasure for the rest of my life. I hope and pray they can get this oil spill under control ASAP!

7 Weeks and COUNTING!!

My Work Baby Shower 7/13/2010
I'm bad...haven't updated in forever. A lot has changed since 20 weeks...LOL. All is well with mommy and girls, just taking it one day at a time. I had my baby shower at work yesterday and had such a blast! I truly work with some of the greatest people in the world. :) Thank you for the support throughout my pregnancy, it means more than any of you will ever know! I go back to the doctor July 20th for another growth ultrasound....so we will know how big the girls are! YEA! I feel like a MONSTER...each day is getting harder and harder to carry these girls, but God has given us 2 wonderful blessings and we can't wait to meet them. The nursery is almost completed. I've been slacking in all ways. I'm so tired, but the nesting feeling is coming, so I'm starting to get anxious and wanting everything to be perfect when the girls get here. :)

20 weeks...

Today, I have reached the 20 week mark and still feeling great. Although, the last week....I haven't been able to get ENOUGH sleep. All I want to do is sleep, sleep, sleep. I hope this passes, as much as I love to sleep, I have stuff to do!! :) Oh...IT'S GIRLS!!!!! Addison Reed and Anna Lindsey are the names we have picked out. It's all becoming real as each day passes. Watching my belly grow is incredible. Drew finally felt Anna kick for the first time last night. His cheeks lit up with a sweet daddy smile. :) Their kicks and punches are getting a little stronger. At my anatomy scan, all is well with both babies. They are right where they are supposed to be. Addison weighed 10 ounces and Anna weighed 9 ounces. So tiny....

I've ordered their baby bedding, French Black Toile outlined with black and cream gingham. It's super cute and different. Can't wait to actually see it in person. I've got to get with it and get their nursery completed. :)

We have been blessed with some friends that have twin girls as well that are 15 months old. I had the luxury of taking over a lot of their clothes and it ALL matches. They had some very cute girly outfits. I'm decked out with 0-3 and some 3-6 month clothes. It's actually a little overwhelming looking through all the stuff we have. We are so appreciative of everything that our families and friends have done for us so far. We are truly blessed.

My best friend Hillary got married last weekend, and me, and babies were bridesmaids. We enjoyed it, and she was a beautiful bride.
