Update...2/28

Yippeee!!! I talked to Drew yesterday. It had been about 4 (long) days since I had heard from him. He's doing good. Unfortunately, he told me some things had happened their and it wasn't too good. He was a little sad, but we had a good talk. He received 4 packages all in the same day, so he was happy about getting stuff from home! :) Most of you have been asking what to get him. I've been buying him snack foods, books, toiletries, dip, that kind of stuff. It doesn't matter what you send. Something is better than nothing! I've been sending a lot of extra stuff for guys in his team. Some of them don't receieve a lot of mail from home. Of course, he is very appreciative as well. Thanks for the continuous support, thoughts, and prayers. You have no idea how much that means to us both. He is currently taking a lot of pictures so he can transfer them to a flash drive to mail them home to me!!! I can't wait to see where he is, his surroundings etc. I will post a few on here when I get them. He STILL doesn't have internet and probably will not for a little while. He is in one of the most dangerous places there is. With that said, things happen pretty frequently and when it does, they have what they call 'blackouts'. No communication allowed; no internet or telephone out of respect for loved ones. So, the progress with the internet has been stalled so much, he may be home before they get it hooked up! Anyway, know that I will continue to update this as much as I can and as often as I speak with him. We love you all...
