Back in November, we went to a ceremony in Ocala, FL shortly after the Thanksgiving holidays. Some of you may not know that Drew has been re-located with the 351st MP company out of Ocala, FL. However, after this tour, he and several other soldiers will transfer back to the 81st Regional Readiness Command out of Birmingham. It was so wonderful, yet incredibly sad. Their active duty orders started November the 29th. At this particular ceremony, they had several community leaders and leaders from the Army come and speak. It was comforting knowing that these people were concerned and showed much appreciation to our soldiers and their families. It was a fun weekend spent with other military families sharing stories, dreams, and hopes or the future. Above is a picture of the day we said good-bye once again. It was hard driving 10 hours back leaving my husband behind to fulfill his duty. At the same time, I know it's God's calling for Drew to be doing this at this time in his life. That's what gives me comfort at the end of the day.
I am so proud of the incredibly strong woman you have become, of the dedicated wife you are and the amazing friend you have always been! You are my role model.. honestly! You are everything I hope to become one day! I love you and miss you so much!
