Hello everyone,
Talked to Drew yesterday and he completed his promo packet, and turned it in. Hopefully, it wont be long until he gains yet ANOTHER stripe and will be called SGT Wood. :) He's super excited! He also told me, the battalion commander gave him a coin for excellence in leadership! What an accomplishment! He is leaving Mosul on July 22nd and getting a 3 day pass to Tikrit for pleasure. I am so proud of the great accomplishments he has tackled since being deployed. I knew he would be a great leader in the field. Whew...we have passed the halfway mark and are on the downside of this stinkin' deployment. Only about 4 months left and we cannot wait! I'm still packing and getting ready for the big move...in less than 2 weeks! Our living room is crazy, stacked with boxes and I am tired of looking at it! Anyway, gotta get back to work. Hope all is doing well...
