Yes, I am STOKED about Christmas this year...mainly because Drew will be home, but Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. Most of you will probably look at this timeline and gag...lol. But, it will be a VERY exciting time for Drew and I. Just wanted to share my anxious nature! Also, I am planning on hosting the "Bean" Christmas this year, and I am so excited...with mom's help of course!
As far as the restful sleeping is concerned, we have now accomplished 2 successful nights without the creepy dreams! So, I've been feeling a bit more rested, needless to say.
I bought our mattress set yesterday and enjoyed picking it out. For those of you who know me well, know that I LOVE to sleep and the bed is my favorite place to be! =) I also went to the new house yesterday to check on things and see if any of the inspection woes had been fixed. They've replaced a broken window, or I should say they're in the process, and hopefully had the AC checked and repaired, and the corner sofit that was rotten... looked like it had been painted over and NOT replaced. Well, mister...he will not get away with that! I may be young, but I am far from stupid and don't plan on being belittled by some man trying to get rid of his house..do it RIGHT the first time. At least, that's the way I was raised...(thanks mommy and daddy!) So, our closing is in 1 week...he's had ample time to fix these repairs and hopefully, we'll be able to close on time. However, I'm not settling for a shabby "get me out" job!
If you can remember my best friend and maid of honor Hillary,...she's getting MARRIED! She's asked me to be a part of her very special and deserving day and I am so honored and excited for her. What a wonderful friend she's been to me; and I only wish for her the very best that life and love have to offer. She's been there for me every step of the way and I am blessed to have her in my life!
It seems like I get a wedding invite in the mail every other day! However, I know we are all in our "prime" and before too long, it will be baby shower invites! I just love it, and love how each invite shows a different personality and taste. Speaking of...our "original" anniversary is coming up in less than a month (August 8th) and I've already been thinking on how I can spend that day with Drew even with 8,000 miles separating us.
